My name is Connor Glasgow. My day to day focus is basketball and how I’m going to continue to play it at a college level. I have always been competitive, starting when I was young playing basketball against my dad in the driveway which has led me to beating him in HORSE on a regular basis. He began telling me where pros went to college and what year they were drafted and it began into a game of who knew more and started my love for sports, especially basketball. I now retain statistics, know my opponents weaknesses, and have an exceptional basketball IQ on the floor. I am my high school’s team captain and was voted Unanimous First Team All Conference this year, Telegraph Herald 1st Team All Area, All tournament team last year and this year in both Pecatonica and Eastland tournaments. I reached my 1000 points and 500 rebounds and still have my Senior year to accomplish more. I had 20.8 ppg, 10.6 rebounds, and went 73% for free throws. I led my team in points, rebounds, assists and steals. I play AAU basketball to challenge myself with higher quality players to push myself to be better and frankly because I just love to play basketball. I work one-on-one with skilled players to improve my game, attend Elite Camps and will continue to give 110% at the college level. I have averaged a 3.37 weighted GPA throughout high school so far and have taken 3 college courses through my school. I plan on attending college focusing on sports management.
