Lauren Fessler '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Fessler and I am a 2022 setter and defensive specialist from Hazel Green, Wisconsin.  Ever since I started playing volleyball at age 9, I fell in love with the sport and aspired to play at the collegiate level someday.

 My collegiate goals are, first and foremost, to get a degree in my desired field while setting myself up for a career in which I can serve the Lord and others in the community.  Another main goal I have for college is to play competitive volleyball and be a positive, beneficial addition to whichever team I am on. My greatest desire in playing volleyball is to be a good teammate. I want to not only make myself better, but also make everyone around me better, both on and off the court. I have a very strong work ethic that shows both on and off the court, I am a captain on my school's varsity team and have broken multiple school records in my high school career.

 Academics are very important to me, I have worked hard to maintain above a 4.0 GPA since my freshman year. I am involved in different extracurricular activities and leadership roles in my school such as National Honors Society, Student Council, and a Pro Life Group.

I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself both in academics and athletics. My goal is to find a school that best fits me in both of these areas. I want to not only make my family proud, but most importantly serve the Lord in whatever I choose to do.
