My name is Emily Mohr and I am a Senior at Hampshire High School. I am a Triple Threat Award winner and recently named Outstanding Team Player at Asics Jr Nationals. I am focused on my future in volleyball and still do track for fun. I play sand volleyball in the summer to work on my skills, my vertical and to continue to stay conditioned for my upcoming season.
I enjoy being in a team sport where I am challenged by my teammates, can contribute athletically and academically and grow mentally and physically from what I learn from my coaches and teammates every day. I want my athletic experience to show the kind of leader I can be, the teammate I can be and how versatile I am as an athlete. It is important to me to be a part of an collegiate family where integrity, honor and respect are a part of the standard. As a student athlete, I am a reflection of that team, my coaches, the school and my family. I would be an asset to the program as I am accountable, responsible and reliable as a student athlete and human being. I will bring positivity, a great work ethic, and one of the best laughs you have ever heard! I enjoy my time on the court/field and have made some life long friends during my athletic career so far. I am looking forward to continuing my volleyball career at the collegiate level.
My academics are important to me and help develop my character as a student athlete. I would prefer to attend an university where I can get more of a 1 on 1 personal college experience versus being just a number. I am looking to continue to be involved in athletics in my future by becoming a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer at the college or professional level. In the end, I want to make an impact on the college I attend, earn academic excellence and in turn, improve the future of sports medicine and athletes like me.
I do have an Instagram page set up with video clips and photos from playing with both my high school team and club team. My Instagram profile is: @vball_bball_288
Thank you for your time and interest in my profile.
