Hi I am Amber Pelton I am a 5'6 2023 L/DS from Illinois. I play for New WAVE volleyball and in high school at Hinsdale Central. I have been playing club volleyball for about seven years and have played as a setter, outside, and current DS. My goal is to play at a division one college to get both a great academic and athletic experience. I also want to compete at the highest level even if it means I won't get as much playing time because I will be getting better every practice and game from the experience. I would consider myself a very versatile and driven player. I am always willing and able to help out and fill in when my coach needs me to. For example, as a freshman in high school, we needed setters so I stepped up and played for our varsity team as a freshman. When it comes to practice I am always at least 15 minutes early and ready to go. I also put in time outside of practice to come to the gym and train more. I also participate in the personal training that is offered at my club to improve my physical strengths. I would like to go to a larger school but I am open to anything. This goes for a location as well. I would like to play in the midwest or south but I am open to looking to further my horizons.
