Winning a national championship is something that I have worked extremely hard for with my club teams. Winning a national championship is the ultimate goal of every club season. In 2017 my 15´s team placed 3rd at nationals and in 2018 my 16´s team placed 5th. My junior season in the 18's program my team became the 2019 18 and under Premier AAU National Champions. Through playing this sport I have learned what it truly takes to be a good teammate and to be the player that your team and coach needs you to be no matter what circumstance. I have also learned that mental toughness does not come easy. But just like your volleyball skills and goals, mental toughness is something that you have to work for in order to achieve.
I am fortunate enough to be a part of the Sports Performance Program which has given me outstanding oppurtunities to grow as an athlete, a teammate, and an individual. I have learned the value of commitment, perseverence, sacrifice, and teamwork. Everyday at practice for club, I have the acronym C.T.E written on my sleeve and everyday I continually work toward the ¨commitment to excellence¨ by being the best I can be and striving to improve. I am looking for a college program that will be a great fit for me athletically but also academically. It is always a goal of mine to be the hardest working athlete on any team that I am a part of; I would love to continue that goal into my collegiate level of playing. I believe that I have not only the skills and athleticism needed to compete at the college level, but also the work ethic, character, and the passion to make an immediate positive impact on your program.
