Personal Statement
Hi my name is Gretchen Carey, I've played volleyball for going on three years now. For me volleyball playing time isn't as big of a deal as some people make it out to be. If I don't get a lot of playing time I take that as a reason to get better. In practices I take it seriously, while on the court I have fun while also being serious. The words the coaches say to me always mean something, they don't say things for no reason. I like to think I'm a very coachable and adaptable person. My academics are very important to me too. I take assignments and classwork just like I do my game play I volleyball.
