I am a 5'10" front row player. My primary position during my two year career at South Suburban College (SSC) was middle blocker. South Suburban College is associated with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Last season, our team earned a trip to compete in the NJCAA – Division II, National Volleyball Tournament that was played in Toledo, Ohio. During my sophomore year, I was nationally ranked third in solo blocks with 141 and second with 238 total blocks. I scored 588 total points that ranked 10th in the nation, of which 369 were kills. During my freshman year, I was the number one nationally ranked solo blocker with 126 and 26th in total points with 511. I was a two year co-captain and was selected two times to the all-regional team and many tournament teams.
While at Peotone High School in Illinois, in addition to being a middle blocker, I also played outside and right side hitter. I played four years with the Altitude Volleyball Club and played in national tournaments each year. I’ve been playing on school volleyball teams since the 6th grade. When I was in 8th grade, our team took 2nd in state in the 4A division. I play both defense and offense, with authority. I am a one sport athlete and play organized competitive volleyball all year long. I am very coachable, have a high energy level and a strong team player.
My volleyball career has come to an end at SSC and I want to continue playing competitive volleyball. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I live in Illinois and I am looking for a university or college where I can obtain a major in Agribusiness and a minor in Marketing. My top priority is receiving a quality education that will help me continue to succeed after my college career is completed.
