My ultimate goals are to achieve a volleyball scholarship to a reputable college that provides both optimal courses geared towards my major and an opportunity to continue to play competitive volleyball. Volleyball has been my absolute favorite sport and past time. I not only enjoy competitive play, but I enjoy the camaraderie of my teammates and coaches. I work hard and my coaches have seen my dedication and the growth I have made in volleyball. I used to be considered the "underdog," until my coaches lit a fire for me and I have worked hard to rise above and make it to achieve amazing opportunities. As a freshmen high school volleyball player, I was recruited to play on the varsity team. I also accepted an offer for a national club team and was chosen to play with this team out of 120 girls trying out. I was homeschooled through elementary school and overcame social and academic issues and succeeded in advancing in my learning and gaining new friendships. I have had an incredible journey full of ups and downs, but perseverance has been a characteristic that leads my journey. I am incredibly excited to work towards a fantastic future full of great opportunities! This is just the beginning!
