I am a 5' 8" setter from Newburgh, IN and I will be graduating from Castle High School in May of 2022. I have played volleyball since third grade, travel/club since I was 11, and I would love to continue playing in college. Along with my athletics, my academics are very important to me. I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout middle school and freshman and sophomore year of high school while taking honors classes and I plan to do the same in high school. While in college, I would like to pursue a major in engineering, actuarial science, or chemistry.
In 2015 my friend, Kate Bruggenschmidt, was killed in an ATV accident. I think of Kate everyday, she was my teammate as well as my friend. I actively participate in the foundation they have created in her name, Play for Kate. I also participate in many clubs at my school. I am also in Riley Dance Marathon, in this club we raise money for the kids at Riley Hospitals. This year I became part of the executive board and I am the sponsorship chair which means I call businesses and help lead other member of the club. I also participate in my school's Unified Track where we work with the special needs program at my school. I feel giving back to your school and community is very important. It will not only give you the joy of helping others, it will teach you many valuable life lessons.
I have been so blessed with the coaches, family, and teammates that have pushed me to where I am now. I am a hard worker, a team player, and I never give up. I am a strong, dedicated player that would be a good addition to any team.
