I started playing volleyball when I was 8. Although the past 6 years have given me a lot of experience, my first two years of club volleyball played a major part in why I want to pursue the sport today. I played for a team that was not extremely talented. Even though, we lost all of our games, I learned the value of commitment, determination, and diligence. It was then when I knew that I loved the sport so much, and was so persistent in making myself better, that I stayed with them for another year. I soon realized that I had to leave the team in order to nurture my skill and get to a level I wanted to be at.
During the summer before my freshman year at Ben Franklin High School, I began practicing and conditioning with the volleyball team. Through all this hard work, I was able to make the Junior Varsity team and was one of the starting players for the entire season. I was introduced to a level of volleyball I had never seen before, and I was willing to do whatever was needed to increase my skill. My leadership, integrity, and determination will make a great impact on your team!
My goals athletically are to keep a steady work out plan, get as much defensive practice as I can recieve, and keep my conscientious mindset. My academic goals consist of completing highschool with a GPA of 4.0, and pursuing a Business Degree in college.
