Izara Crown '21 Recruiting Profile

“It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog (Archie Griffin).  My name is Izara Crown and this is a quote that I live by everyday.  I have never let my short stature become an obstacle for me.  I am currently a libero for Baltimore Elite Volleyball Club.  Additionally, I am a senior at Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women (a college preparatory school).  I have made the varsity volleyball team at BLSYW during my freshman through junior years of school and was the team captain.  Moreover, I won MVP for the 2018-2019 season and MVP as well as the “Side-Out” award for the 2019-2020 season.

I am currently, at 17 years of age, a manager at Burger King.  Due to my leadership skills, I earned this position in under a year of employment for Burger King.  I am also ServSafe certified.

I am interested in studying interior design in college.

Volleyball has been such a big part of my life.  I am a committed and hardworking student-athlete who looking to play at the highest level of volleyball.
