Callie Hose '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Callie Hose, and I am excited to be preparing for the next steps in my volleyball journey. I began playing volleyball in 6th grade for my middle school team. I fell in love with the sport and wanted to continue improving my skills, so I decided to try out for a local club team and was offered a spot. Unfortunately, mid-way through the season,  volleyball was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was heartbroken, I was learning so much playing with the club team. I continued to practice at home, and as the weather warmed up, my Mom found some opportunities to play beach volleyball, which was perfect because it was outside. Since then, I have continued to play both indoor and beach volleyball. 

I am normally quiet, but when I am playing, I am in my element. I put out 100% effort and strive to be the best player I can be and help my teammates. I am thankful for the leadership skills volleyball is teaching me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue improving my abilities and myself. I work hard both on the court and in the classroom. My goal is to be able to play volleyball in college while earning my degree.
