Hello! My name is Sydney Green and I am currently a sophomore attending Merrimack College. After spending two years at Merrimack, I have decided it's time for a change in my academic and volleyball career. My current school does not offer the major and minor programs that I am interested in, so I've decided to explore other academic opportunities. Going into my junior year, it is imperative that I focus on my academic, professional and athletic goals. I understand that academics are first priority so it's important to me to pick a school that has an abundance of academic support. My past coaches were very good at holding me accountable in the academic aspect and athletic aspect and I would appreciate the same at my next institution. As for volleyball, coming from a growing program I was forced to recognize the importance of establishing a solid foundation of good team culture. Therefore, I feel I can provide positive core values such as accountability, integrity and teamwork. I understand the importance of team values and having a set goal as a team and working together to obtain them. I hope that I can be a significant asset to a team and bring great leadership skills and dedication.
