Volleyball has been one of the sports that has stuck with me the most after having played a variety of sports as a kid, ranging from soccer to tennis. I focus on and seek to develop my athleticism and agility so that I can be flexible for my teammates. My objective is to be the best volleyball player I can be, and to give it my all not just to prove to myself that I can do it, but also to my loved ones who have believed in and supported me from the beginning. One of my favorite things to do is take on a challenge; in this case, Volleyball is a challenge that I am now tackling and intend to continue doing so for as long as I am able because the environment is so competitive and full of teamwork and unity. Despite the fact that this is only my second year setting in a club season, I have greatly improved my setting skills as a result of my hard effort.
My grades demonstrate my high level of organization and commitment to succeed in both athletics and school. My long-term ambition is to get a degree in biological science, psychology, writing, or environmental studies. I am the overall vice president for the whole high school. I am currently enrolled in numerous AP and Honors programs, and will continue to take advantage of any opportunities to advance my knowledge.
On the court, I am aggressive and energetic as I cheer on my teammates throughout tournaments, as several of my teammates can attest. When I make a mistake, one of my strongest character traits is that I immediately seek the next ball so that I may do even better than the previous point and demonstrate what I am capable of as a player. Furthermore, my competitive nature is what motivates me to participate in all of the activities I do; it allows me to express myself fully.
