My name is Meghan Teague, I am a senior at Easthampton High School and have been playing volleyball for four years. I was introduced to volleyball in eighth grade when I started going to weekly clinics at my middle school. I instantly knew that I loved playing and I continued to play into high school. I was captain sophomore year of my JV team and began playing for Western Mass Volleyball Club shortly after that and am still playing with them today.
I've played multiple positions on the court but have been the most successful as a middle and outside hitter. I have an aggressive swing and can move fast to finish a play. I always like to hear criticism and critiques from my coaches so that I can become a stronger and well rounded player.
I have always been a team player and love to push myself and my team mates to be the best we can be while working together to push through tough sets and finish the game just as strong as we started.
While in school I have maintained high grades and a high GPA while staying dedicated to volleyball. I am also a member of National Honors Society and Key Club where I volunteer at local food drives, fundraisers and events. I hope to attend a college on the east coast that allows me to continue pushing myself academically and physically so that I can be a positive role model for my younger sister and others who wish to play high school and college volleyball!
