Angelina Steiger '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Angelina Steiger, and I am a middle blocker/outside hitter for the class of 2023. I have played volleyball for 3 years, and I love it more every year. When I step into the gym, I am not only trying to make myself better but also my team. I am a well-rounded volleyball player being able to play any position on the front row and back row if necessary.  I am dedicated, hard-working, and passionate.  I am motivated and I play with integrity.  I am a team leader that believes in leading by example.  I am a supportive and encouraging teammate and very coachable player.  I don't make excuses when I make mistakes and I don’t dwell on it but rather focus on making the next play better.  I not only give all I have in practice but I work extensively outside of practice to further develop my skills to become better at the sport I truly love.

My ultimate goal is to play competitive college volleyball while earning my college degree.  I know playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would be a part of me the rest of my life. I am searching for the best blend of high level volleyball and academic excellence.   I love to compete and also want to be academically challenged in criminal justice and/or sports management. I play, practice, and study at one speed - full speed.

My love for volleyball is undeniable.  I know it takes hard work, dedication, and passion to be successful at the next level.  I believe I would be a great asset to your program.
