Makenna Blake '25 Recruiting Profile

I had the privilege to start playing volleyball in sixth grade. Now almost being in my seventh year of playing, I've learned a lot of new skills, but I also gained a lot of new aspirations. My goal is to play college volleyball, and once I graduate, become a volleyball coach while working at a hospital as a Children's Oncology Nurse. Volleyball is my passion and something I never become tired of doing. I believe I can be a good candidate for a team because I am hard working, open to criticism and learning, and I strive to always be a good team player and encourager. I, personally, don't want to be done with volleyball after high school, or college, but I want to become a coach and help other people achieve their goals, as my coaches have done for me. I want to always keep a part of this sport with me, whether it's playing, teaching people how to play, or coaching, volleyball is something that I always want to be a part of my life.
