#1: Family - connection with my family is the most important aspect of my life, I'm very close with my parents and older sister (Molly). I also consider my volleyball teammates like extended family as we are very close with each other.
#2: Education - like volleyball, I take my education very seriously and enjoy the structure of the classroom and being academically challenged. I plan to continue my education at a highly selective university where I can reach my full potential. I am currently taking advanced classes in science, math and english, possess a 4.0 GPA and ranked #2 of 543 students at Clarkston High School.
#3: Volleyball - ever since I made the 1's team at Legacy as a 12 year old, I've set my eyes on playing D1 volleyball. I am learning not to expect perfection, but perfection is the goal I naturally gravitate towards in everything I do. I strive to push myself and my teammates in practice (especially conditioning) and put in extra hours lifting weights, watching volleyball videos and individual training. I believe my athleticism (9'5" approach, quickness, gymnast flexibility) and ability to mentally focus are what sets me apart from other athletes in the libero position.
