Alice Steman '25 Recruiting Profile

I want to play at the absolute highest level of collegiate volleyball offered to me. I want to fully immerse myself in a team and school, and really take the sport I love seriously. I am a good candidate for college teams because I understand how much energy and effort I have to put into the sport just to keep a spot on the team, and I'm willing to give my all. On the court, I'm very competitive, cutthroat, and determined to get the next point. Off the court, I'm very understanding of different people and like to learn about the way our world works. I try not to take tensions that arise on the court into my everyday life. I know I am undersized for my position, but that doesn't stop me from jumping, running, and hitting my absolute hardest against the taller opponents.  In academics I strive to put forth my best effort and to make school enjoyable and with minimal stress, so, I spend a lot of time working ahead if allowed and truly giving my best effort.
