My name is Britta Lund, I am a junior at Prior Lake High School. I'm interested in Criminal Justice and Psychology, but don't have solid plans of what I want to study. I started volleyball in fifth grade after watching my cousin and a family friend play. I fell in love with volleyball because it is a true team sport. I grew up playing many sports, such as swimming, basketball, track, and dance, but I never felt the connection I felt with volleyball. I love being able to be active, be competitive, and create strong relationships with my teammates and coaches. Volleyball has helped me grow more confident in myself and has taught me important lessons in leadership, communication, and how to be a teammate people want on their team. I take feedback from coaches and teammates very seriously because I know it will help me progress in my volleyball career. I have the most experience in as a middle but, I have a lot of experience as an opposite hitter in addition to experience as an outside hitter. My coaches switch my position when needed so I can benefit my team as much as possible. I look forward to pursuing my volleyball career at a college level.
