In college, I would like to exceed everyone’s expectations, academically and in volleyball. I want to do well in school, so I can excel after my college years. I want a degree that will ensure I get a job that I will enjoy and will lead me to financial stability. On top of that, to play volleyball. I enjoy creating deep connections with coaches and my teammates, on more then just the surface level. Playing the sport is when I feel the most myself and find myself being the happier and best version of myself. I practice to improve, and never take time in the gym for granted. When I step on the court I am preforming to the best of my ability and I give everything I can. I refuse to give up no matter the situation. Volleyball is a sport where the score can change so fast. Even if you are down by 10, you can still come back from it. Which is why I push myself in those moments where it’s close or we are down, to regain momentum. Even if we are leading the score, I push. The game isn’t over until the referee blows the whistle and we shake hands. Completing in volleyball at a college level will not be easy. You have to be a present team member, friend, and family member, also while keeping school a priority. I know I will be able to do everything expected of myself and more, all to benefit any team.
