Being a part of a Missouri State Championship this past season is something I will never forget. From starting varsity and going to state all three years of my current high school career, finally winning the championship will forever be in my heart.
I have played a high level of club and school volleyball since I have been ten years old. Through the game I have not only improved my skill, but created a lifetime supply of friends and memories. I strive to be a leader. To me, being a leader is not necessarily being the harshest person on the court, but more by being a true teammate. Leading by example is something I feel is a key asset to any team. As a 5'7" Libero, I may not be the biggest player on the court slamming balls down, but I know that my constant encouragement and energy brings positivity to everyone on the team.
To tell you a bit further about myself, I also enjoy playing golf and basketball. I am Class President and involved in Student Council, Ambassadors, and National Honor Society.
To play collegiate volleyball would not only accomplish a life-long goal of mine, but allow me to keep playing competitive volleyball, the sport I love, until I no longer can.
