Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Emma Frazier. I am a 2024 libero from Festus, Missouri. I attend St. Pius X High School. I have a strong passion for volleyball and I have been playing since I was 10 years old. I love to challenge myself and continue to better myself. I love being a part of a team as it allows for you to help each other get better and it provides a family type atmosphere. I am looking for a school that has strong academics. I like smaller class sizes where I can get to know my peers and professors and somewhere that is going to challenge me. For athletics I want to be in a competitive environemnt. I believe that I strive in a competitive environment but I also want to go somewhere that I can be part of a team. I want a place that will challenge me and push me to my fullest potential. I am a hardworking athlete who gives 100 percent in everything I do.

Coach Scott is the best! His success in college at Long Beach State (2004 First Team All-American and NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship) as well as his success at the International level (member of the U.S. National Team from 2007 - 2017 and 2008 Men's Volleyball Olympic Gold Medal) has been a big influence with my volleyball career. He has helped me improve my skills in volleyball, as well as my mindset. I'm continuing to work with Coach Scott 2 times a week to improve my serve/receive, defense, and a better understanding of the game at an elite level. He challenges me at every workout and has provided me with first hand experience of the dedication, commitment, hard work, and sacrifices it takes to be the best player/person I can be.

Coach Keith has also helped me improve my game. I've spent hours with him and that shows in games and practices. Coach Keith is still helping me improve and I workout with him about 2 times per week.
Dalton Ammerman

Dalton was an outside for Long Beach State University from 2010-2014. I have been working with Dalton for about a year and he has helped me improve my game in a number of ways. As of now I train with him 4 days a week and I workout with him 3 days a week. Dalton a lot about the game physically but also mentally. He has helped me make huge jumps in the past 4 months that have made me such a better player. He encourages me to work my hardest everytime I step on the court. He pushes me to my limits and even past me to make me the best player I can be.
Dustin Watten

I have been working with Dustin for almost a year now. He is a former member of the USA National Team and now plays with Poland. He has been such an inspiration to me. I have been meeting with him via zoom for a few months now and he has improved my mental game so much. He has given me things that I can do off the court to make me a better athlete. He holds me accountable to things I consider important and that are going to make me a better athlete. He introduced the split step to me which has improved my game tremendously. It has made serve recieve much more easy and efficient for me.
