My mother said she named me Faith, in hope that I would believe and pursue those things that seem impossible. In hope that I would not be consumed by fear or the word "no". This has always made me dream big and want to encourage and motivate others to do the same. I have yet to decide upon a major that speaks to me and my destiny of "being the difference to make a difference". I hope to positively affect generations to come.
As an individual player I work hard for the love of the game. I am all in! My family has always taught me to respect others and their culture. I give respect on and off the court. I live by the golden rule; do unto others as you would have them do unto you. As a team player I strive to motivate and encourage everyone to play their game and leave it all out on the court. No regerts! LOL. No regrets!
Among the thousands of girls my age striving for college scholarships I know that I am not the best. I know that I do not know it all. I know my strengths and weaknesses. I know who I am. I display good sportsmanship and leadership. I work hard at continuing to develop and grow in skill and knowledge. I observe, listen and take constructive criticism. I am a student of the game for my love of volleyball! There is nothing more satisfying than blocking, spiking, and flying through the air. Volleyball....the only place I can unleash the beast inside.
