My name is Rachael Fry, and I am a defensive specialist for the class of 2025. I have been playing volleyball for six years and aspire to play at the collegiate level. Since my dad and sister introduced me to volleyball, I knew that volleyball was for me. I am passionate about the sport and I know this is something that I want to continue forever. Most of my friends think volleyball comes easily for me, but it is all about consistent hard work and dedication to continue to improve my skills.
When it comes to the classroom, I strive to maintain a 3.9 GPA and am currently ranked fourth in my class. Outside of the court, I am the chapter president of the Technology Student Association. In this role, I organize technological events and assist my peers with projects for their competitions. I am a true team leader that always displays a strong work ethic. I am also a pianist that received the 2022 KCMTA Music Award. I know that academics is the most fundamental component of college, but I do believe that being a part of a team creates life long connections, partnership, and builds character.
Thank you for taking the time to look into my profile and personal statement, I look forward to hearing from you!
