Malainna Adler '24 Recruiting Profile

I am 17 years old and I go to Cor Jesu Academy. I have played volleyball for Cor Jesu for the past four seasons. I currently have a 4.22 cumulative GPA. Academics are very important to me and are something I will continue to value. I first started to love volleyball when I used to watch my sister play in high school as a setter. She earned a scholarship to play volleyball but never got to play because of an injury. Even though she never got to play in college, I was inspired by watching her work so hard to achieve her goals. I started playing club volleyball in 5th grade, and I have learned a lot from my coaches on the different teams I have played for. I read books on mindset so I can raise my playing level and become a better teammate. I believe that being mentally strong is one of the most important things in order to become a great player. I strive to be a team player because I believe that my team can only achieve great things when we all work together. Whether on the court or not, I love encouraging my teammates.
