In my high school years I discovered that failure is the key to success. My plans are to not only use sports to help my family pay for my education, but also to help me become a better athlete.
I appreciate the challenges I have encountered in my life because they have strengthened my character. One of the greatest challenges I have faced, growing up in a small, rural community, was also a blessing. My greatest challenge was learning to work with a busy schedule. I had a hard time keeping up with things when I was busy. Luckily I have worked past that.
Sports, especially volleyball and basketball, are what I am most passionate about. They have been great challenges that lead into success. I am currently involved in volleyball, basketball, track and am particularly proud of the great success I have had.
I also spend a great deal of my time working and spending time with friends and family. My family is very important to me but having a job is just as important. My strong belief that I am a hard worker on and off the court. My goals are to make it to the next level where I deserve to be.
