Sierra Orton '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sierra Orton I am a 6'2" 140 lb middle blocker/right side in the class of 2021. My passion for the game of volleyball started 3 three years ago when I watched my older sister played and I knew this sport was what I wanted to do. I strive to be the very best that I can be on and off the court. Volleyball has taught me how to be a leader, how to work hard for a goal and how to give it my all at all times. Because of my commitment to my sport I have had to make school a priority because I cannot succeed in volleyball without succeeding in school. Watching my older sister with her trials and success has given me a clear path on how to achieve my goal. Through the sport of volleyball I have learned that with enough hard work and a belief in myself I can accomplish anything. I never give up on myself and my teammates I cannot succeed on any level without them by my side, if they are struggling so am I. I will always put my team first whether that is cheering and supporting from the sideline or giving praises on the court. We are a team and that is one of my best assets I have to offer, I am also developing in to a great blocker, I'm developing my vertical and my hits are getting stronger every time I play. My goal in high school is to graduate with the advanced honors diploma which will ultimately lead me to accomplish my next goal which is to play for a Division I volleyball program that has an excellent Pre-Physical therapy program.
