Grace Campbell '15 Recruiting Profile

The first time I ever played volleyball on an actual team was in seventh grade, and that is when I came to the realization that I had finally found my one true love when it came to sports. I am always trying to push myself to the next level whether it is academically or athletically. I am hoping to become the best player I can possibly become. Whether it is putting in extra time at the gym to staying after and getting help with a teacher I do what ever it takes. I feel that an athlete does not just focus on the sport but also must focus on academics to be successful. That being said I am looking not only for a outstanding volleyball program but also for an outstanding academic program. I wish to major in Educational Studies with maybe a minor in something like Exercise Science, as I wish to become a coach someday. In my eyes outstanding doesn't always mean winning every game but it does mean having a sense of pride, family and overall camaraderie with your teammates.
