My name is Ashley Webber. I am a sophomore from Carmel High School located in Carmel, NY. I am 15 and in the graduating class of 2024. I have been playing volleyball since I was in 8th grade and club since I was a freshman for CT Stars. I have developed a real love for volleyball since before 8th grade but I thought everyone wanted me to play basketball so I did that instead. I have a passion for the game and always give 110% in practice and in game play. When I switched to volleyball I was the happiest me or my parents have ever seen myself. This year I was invited to be on my clubs nationally ranked team and I was the starting setter for CT stars 16's Don. I was voted most improved player by my team and was very excited to hear that, knowing what I went through this past year with the loss of my dad, and knowing how proud my dad is of me. This was my first time on varsity basketball as a sophomore and I have academically not left High Honor roll since I came to high school. My averages all together have not gone below a 90%

As a 2024 grad, she still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become and elite player. She has a bright volleyball career ahead of her. as a setter , this is very important. being a vocal leader on the court will help to bring the level of play with your teams up work on consistency with all sets to each position, this will help make you and your offense much more effective when you can consistently distribute the ball to different positions work on being a more consistent hitter, this make you a valuable weapon. Also as a setter, work on dumps to keep the defense on their toes
