My goal for volleyball has always been to go to college for it. My sister started playing before me and I ended up falling in love with the sport by watching it first. The second I started playing I put everything I had into the sport I loved. I started off as a libero for my middle school team in seventh grade and throughout my middle school career I remained a libero. Then when I hit high school I was on the court as a DS. Then I hit a growth spurt and my club coach decided I was a better outside my sophomore year. I am now an all around outside. Although it is sometimes difficult to balance the sport with four AP classes and a few honors classes, volleyball is worth it. I believe that I would make a great asset to future teams because I put everything I have into every play and am a very determined player. Not only am I hard working but I think I bring a very positive attitude to my team. For all three years I have been on varsity my team has always told me that they love the pep talks I give during games and getting that feedback has made me strive to not only be a better player but also person. This sport has made me realize how people should work together and has given me so many opportunities and friends along the way.
