Casey Grange '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Casey Grange.  I have been playing volleyball for 5 years.  I started in middle school and immediately fell in love with the game.  My first coach saw a lot of potential in me and that was very encouraging.  I figured out if I was going to be serious I would have to play club and play competitively so I found the best club I could and began my journey.  I began my career as a setter, then I grew and became a middle, then I stopped growing and have played outside, left side and middle for the last 3 years. 

Volleyball has taught me so much.  I have overcome obstacles and stayed with my goal.  I have played positions that I wanted and some that I didn't and stayed with my goal.  I have had great coaches and coaches who have yet to be great and I stayed with my goal.  I have heard encouraging words and dead silence and through it all, I learned that I need to stay with my goals and persevere and I will reach my goal.  

My goal? I want to play volleyball in college and I want to become a vet.  Maybe an equine vet.  To do that, I will need a great school that fits me.  I want to join a team where I can help that team achieve great things and we can all celebrate those great things together.  I am ready to play volleyball and I am ready to help my team win.
