Meghan Vona '20 Recruiting Profile

I have a passion for volleyball and my academics, so that when paired together, make me a great candidate for a college team. I am dedicated to consistently bettering myself both athletically and academically.  I aspire to go to an academically selective school that will effectively equip me for my future. Volleyball is incredibly important to me and I hope to pair my passion for playing this sport with my academic skill in order to have the best college experience possible.  

I never stop working, I am always looking for ways to better myself in all aspects of my life. On top of practices, I work out at least three times a week. I am devoted to my studies, and always find ways to make sure my grades are top-notch. I also have incredible time-management skills, and can balance my busy schedule while still devoting enough time to the things that are most important. 

I also mesh well with any group of people. Coming onto a new team is incredibly exciting for me, and being captain of my varsity team and in my school's Leadership Academy have taught me how to properly lead and unite a group of people. I am a good teammate and am always incredibly supportive of my team. Making connections with each and every person (teammates and coaches) is especially important to me. I enjoy taking on new experiences and challenges, and I know that playing volleyball at a school that would enhance me academically is the perfect way to do so.
