Hi, my name is Mallorie Rudwall, I’m a sophomore setter in the class of 2027. I live in upstate New York, where coaches and friends tell me I’m naturally extroverted and loud, especially on the court. I was the captain of my Junior Varsity team, and coaches and referees have told me that I’m able to bring my team together and make people laugh when tensions get too high. I also contribute a high knowledge and awareness of the game from not only my perspective as a setter but from the other positions as well.
I would like to study psychology with a minor in music therapy. I have played the violin since I was seven years old. It has taught me about hard work and striving for more. I play in my high school orchestra where I lead my section, as well as, The Utica University String Assemble. Throughout my athletic career, I’ve used the skills I’ve gathered from school, my other passions, and life to create a work ethic and constant desire to be better and achieve more.
