I started playing Volleyball in 8th grade, was awarded MVP that 1st year. Since then I've been a 3 year recipient of All-League I Award, 3 year starter on Varsity, 2 year Captain (Sophomore & Junior year) and game captain (Freshman year). Freshman year I received Rookie of the Year Conference I AA (1st from William Floyd School District, 1st Freshman to receive in League I). 2 year starter for my Club team, Long Island Fury Volleyball. 3 year pick by WFHS Athletic Director to participate in Athletic Leadership Program - WOAC. 3 year volunteer assisting the younger classman at & during Middle School Volleyball try-outs.
Everyday I strive to improve both on the court and in the classroom. If I'm not training with one of my coaches I'm practicing at home or watching videos of other players in order to learn strategy to improve. I encourage my coaches and teachers to push me to my limits. I feel challenges help me grow as an athlete and student and I want to know at the end of the day I worked my hardest, struggled at times and prevailed.
Currently during off season I'm doing beach training & agility workouts 2x/week with my Assistant Club Coach, as well as working with my school Coach by doing open gym and workouts sessions 2x/wk. My goal is to improve on every level of the game, specifically all my key stats in order to bring a stronger, more valuable player to the court next season.
