If you ask anyone I know, how much I love volleyball, they would say "Words cannot describe it!!"
I have been playing volleyball for six years now and have been playing on a club team for five. I started playing varsity volleyball, my freshman year in high school, and was a starter my sophomore year. I received the award for Second Team All-League at the end of that season. I am a multi-sport athlete who plays varsity basketball and even played varsity softball my freshman year.
With all of the sports I enjoy, I know through experiences, that with great commitment comes great responsibility. As a teammate, I believe I can bring life and positive energy to any court in good or bad situations. I am a very competitive person when it comes to anything I set my mind to, and I work hard when challenged with new things. I am a person with valuable skills, such as critical-thinking, self-confidence, working well under pressure, communication, and decision making. At times I may not look so sweet (such as on the court), but trust me I always have a positive attitude. Volleyball has always been a safe place for me, and I enjoy going to all my practices and tournaments knowing I will have fun with my teammates, and get better at the sport I have loved since fifth grade!
School is very important to me as well. I do the best I can with whatever my teachers challenge me with. I am kind to everyone and avoid unnecessary confrontations. I'm not 100% sure about my career path, but I do know that it will be in the science field. I believe with a combination of volleyball and school that I can succeed in anything I put my mind to.
