Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Bailee Branch. I am 18 years old and I am a senior at Kerr Vance Academy. I am a Christian who is a devoted leader of her youth group at Clearview Baptist Church in Henderson. Ever since I was five years old, I loved waking up in the mornings knowing I was going to school.
I've played basketball, volleyball and softball since 6th grade and so far volleyball is the main sport I wanna play when I attend college. I have played as libero for my middle and high school team for five continuous years.
Ever since I was in 6th grade, I have strongly maintained a weighted 4.25 GPA and an unweighted 4.0 GPA in my honor and AP classes. Last year in 9th grade, I was ranked 12 out of 76 students in my grade. This year, I have worked harder towards my academic goals and I am now ranked two out of 76. I am working extremely hard to be ranked top in my grade and graduate as valedictorian of my 2020 class. When I graduate high school, I plan on becoming a prosecuting lawyer.
In August 2018- January 2019, I worked as an intern at Lori Renn’s attorney at law firm. I am working three days a week and getting paid minimum wage for 3 hours a day.

- two days out of each week I go to my local gym and do different workouts that will strengthen my core and my legs, especially my jump for volleyball. I workout year round, especially during the summer because volleyball season is getting ready to start and I wanna be freshly fit. I play three sports and I still workout when I can.
