Coming from an athletic background, I desired to find a sport that I could show my compassion, loyalty and determination in. Volleyball was it. I started at nine years old playing in our local rec leagues. Over the next few years, I have continued to play and develop my skills playing middle school ball and currently play on our Junior Varsity High School team. I also joined the local Volleyball Travel League where I have played the last four years. Not only am I determined on the volleyball court, but I also have a determination in the classroom. I have been a member of the National Beta Club, and received A and AB Honor roll awards. I am very involved in our Student Government Association which I have held officer positions every year. I enjoy being a part of a TEAM in all aspects of my life, whether it be on the court or the classroom.
I know college is an opportunity that everyone does not have, however I would love to have the chance to use my talent, skill, and hard work on the volleyball court as well as in the classroom. I have always wanted to go to college and pursue a career that I can be successful in and provide for my future.
