Avery Chandler '25 Recruiting Profile

My journey to success started when I was young, and started playing  on a small travel volleyball team at six years old. After being in the game for eight years, my zeal and power to motivate teammates to work together and empower each other’s weaknesses and strengths has grown. My drive and team leadership abilities drove the team to be third in our AAU Nationals Tournament in 2021.

I have been intrigued by how the body works during exercise. My A-Level subjects of Biology, Physical Education and Human Development Studies have further fueled my interest in this area. I have always believed volleyball to be a positive challenge and a chance to socialize and meet new people, as well as the chance to be part of a team. I have been involved in a child sports program in my local-area. This has allowed me to work alongside coaches to enthuse and encourage young children in the hope that they too will share the same passion for sport. 

My name is Avery Chandler.  I attend Dalton McMichael High School as a member of the 2025 class.  Along with starting in the OH or OPP positions, I am a member of the basketball team. My short-term goals are maintaining good grades, being a well-rounded student athlete and playing volleyball at the next level for a great University. I cannot wait to find a college program that is a perfect fit for me.
