Ellison Sheppard '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Elli Sheppard, and I am currently a senior at Athens Drive Magnet High School. I'm a middle hitter who has a love and passion for the game. From a very young age, I threw myself into sports trying everything that I could, and when I discovered volleyball, about 4 years ago, I fell in love. I am truly dedicated to putting the best version of myself not only on the court but also in school and life. Over the course of the past season I never missed a single practice and played in every single set. I volunteer regularly in my community as a part of the Teen Core of Cary all while maintaining a 4.25 GPA. In the years that I have played, I have lead blocking stats in my conference for 2 years in a row, made varsity as a sophomore, was voted captain my senior year, was awarded varsity MVP my junior year, and have been awarded a spot on the All-Conference team for the 2021 and 2022 season.  I have been a hard-worker both academically and athletically my entire life and am excited to work even harder in order to achieve my dream of playing at the next level!
