Hi. First of all thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Lillian. I am a student, an athlete, and a singer. I take my academics very seriously, and I consider them my first priority. I'm very hardworking, and I'm almost always in the gym training with a coach - or working out by myself - on my off days. I also enjoy singing and performing musicals when I have free time. In my community, I have helped out with dances organized by Elevation church to entertain young people with special needs. Growing up with a brother with special needs, I have seen how these events brighten a person's day or even their year, and I love being a part of that. I consider myself a social person and a motivator. During games and tournaments, whether I'm playing or waiting for the three rotations before I can go back in, I'm always getting my team excited. I consistently bring all my energy to the court (and team) and if someone isn't having the best game, I help get them focused on the next point. In seventh grade I got injured during the swimming season and, out of curiosity, I decided to try volleyball. I fell in love with the sport, and I've been a year-round player ever since including sand volleyball, scholastic volleyball, and club volleyball. I switched from an outside to a middle hitter for my club team in freshman year, and I found middle so much more exciting. To me, the thrill you get from blocking and shutting down a big hitter is just as great as getting an amazing swing from the outside. My goal is to continue play in college for the thrill of the competition and the joy of the team.
