I have been playing volleyball since I was six years old. As soon as I fell in love with the sport I knew that one day I'd want to be good enough to play at a college level. I know that if I am lucky enough to play in college it'd be a life time opportunity that could change my life forever. One of the things I have been told by numerous people is that my attitude and how I'm playing affect the entire team because I am a leader, they depend on me and look to me when were down and losing. I am very coachable and will listen to any advice or help anyone is willing to give me. One of my main goals has always been to push myself and be the hardest working player on the team.
I'd like to attend a college where not only could I play the sport I love but a place I can study a profession that I love and strive to be the best in my classroom and on the court, I've always hoped to be a great role model that anybody can look up too. I want to be an encourager in life and not a discourager, I want to be able to help people in any way that I can and I hope I get the opportunity too.
My name is Jamie Corns. I'm a 2019 junior at Oak Level Baptist Academy where I start as an varsity setter. My life plan is simple, I not only want to improve and get better on the court, but I also want to be able to impact peoples lives in a positive way. And I'm looking forward to finding the best college that is a perfect fit for me.
