Hi! My name is Megan Moroney. I currently go to Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio and will be a senior in the fall. I’ve played volleyball since 6th grade and have played Junior Olympic volleyball for the past 5 years. This year I started jump training with Coach Glen Conley and I am excited to already be seeing the benefits of it. I can jump 10 feet on a slide approach and my goal is to touch 10 feet or higher on my standard approach. I have learned to challenge myself to get better than others, and if there is no one to challenge me I am still able to push myself to get better even if no one is watching.
I want to continue to play volleyball in college. I enjoy the competition and it makes me work harder in all aspects of my life. I am not sure what I want to major in yet. I am very good at Math and Spanish and want to get an excellent education which will help me be successful in the future.
