Kirstin Weiss '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to further my volleyball career in college. I started playing when I was eight years old. When I was little I always dreamt of being an Olympic volleyball player. I wouldn't leave my tv until sand and indoor volleyball was over. Now I would love to continue playing volleyball in college. I put my heart into everything I do, every game I am in, and every point I play. I am a hard worker, very coachable, and always want to get better. I strive to be a supportive and helpful teammate every practice and game. I love to play with competition because it will push me to become a better version of myself. On the court, I try to lead by example and encourage my teammates. I continue to improve and grow my skill set every practice. I am extremely dedicated to the success of my team.  Playing volleyball and being a student-athlete improves my focus on academics. During the season I have better grades and know that volleyball and school are my top priorities. If you were to ask anyone that knew me what I love to do or what I am always doing they would all respond volleyball.
