I have been playing competitive volleyball since I was 11 years old. Since I first stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the university level. I know that playing volleyball in university is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have amazing leadership, confidence, resiliency, and focus skills. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I strive to be one of the best working players and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
I work hard year round on my volleyball skills, participating in club volleyball. In addition, I attend several camps, tournaments, and private training sessions to improve my skills. I also am a part of Team Ontario Beach and participate in additional beach volleyball tournaments and clinics in the warmer months.
I have also been awarded the Leadership Award in 2020, OVA Award of Excellence in 2022, and the Most Improved Player in 2023 for club volleyball too.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. My grades have been and always will be very important to me. I have worked hard to achieve balance between my academics and extra curricular activities in order to be successful in both. In the classroom, I have also received Honor Roll yearly and have been named the Class Champion in several high school courses. In addition, I volunteer at a big volleyball camp and a multicultural event at my school.
In university, I want to major in Business. It is vital to me that I attend a school where I can push myself in the classroom and on the volleyball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right university match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers in my community and make my family proud.
