Kailey Cheeks '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations have to do with both academics as well as athletics. I know that I am a student first. My plan is to graduate college with a degree in biology. After college, I would like to continue my education. I plan on becoming a Marine Biologist.

I have been playing organized sports since I was 5 years old. I understand how important is it for a team to be unified. I also understand that everyone on a team has a role. When everyone knows their role, and accepts their role then a team will become more successful. Everything I do I put my whole heart into it. I will give 110% and more to my sport, my coaches, and my team.

I have faced many adversities in my life, but I know that through adversities there are lessons to be learned. I know how to persevere. I know that hard work and dedication will pay off in everything that I do.
