Madison Heath '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madison Heath. My Primary position is a Libero. I am a all around focused, dedicated, hardworking, and determined student athlete. I am very pleased by playing the libero position on the court because it allows me to show my leadership skills. I have been very fortunate to work with all sorts of coaches to continue improving my skill and knowledge of volleyball.

I have been playing volleyball since the 5th grade, and I have also been wearing a libero jersey since the 5th/6th grade. Since that day, I have felt this love and passion for volleyball. I have participated in 4 JO club volleyball teams, and 6 JO volleyball seasons. In JO club volleyball I have been a libero. This JO club season (2022) we will travel to Orlando, Florida for AAU Nationals. 

Continuing to high school, I have been starting varsity since freshman year in the libero position playing all 6 rotations. In 2019 (Freshman) I was on the HM for the all-south conference team. In 2020 (Sophomore) I made the all-south conference team, 1x max preps player of the game, and received "best HS scrapper" defensive specialist award. Furthermore to 2021 (Junior)  I made the all-south conference team x2, 2x max preps player of the game, received "best HS scrapper" defensive specialist award x2,  and I was awarded my 1000 career digs. 

I am looking for the best mix of high level volleyball, and academic greatness. I am excited, but prepared to meet the next challenge of playing at the next level. I believe that nothing is given, but only earned.
