Hello! My name is Nyomi Manzano and I am from Plankinton, SD. When I first started to know about the sport volleyball I was in 4th grade. From 4th-6th grade I was a water girl for the team. I built many connections with the players and started to understand more of the sport. Getting older I was open minded to switching positions from a setter to a DS/Libero. I was willing to do whatever it takes to help my teammates no matter what. I always try to have a friendly relationship with my coaches and teachers by respecting, listening, and handling criticism. I like to be critiqued because it helps me become a better player and student. My goal is to try to be a positive and great athlete and student on the court and off the court. I want to keep playing the sport of volleyball because it has taught me so much more about myself and many different types of challenges.
