Lauren Galvan '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Galvan and I am currently playing NAIA Volleyball at Cumberland University as an outside hitter and DS.

I received attacker of the week,  with 30 kills,  my first season with the team as a Freshman. I have learned a lot and made several friends. I ended the season with an All Conference Honorable Mention. 

I played beach volleyball with Project  Serve for a couple of years and I still enjoy playing in my spare time.  

I am studying business finance and I have been on the Dean’s list both semesters.

 I am very passionate about the game, as well as every play. I set high expectations for myself and I strive to succeed. I have learned so much from my coaches and I am very motivated.  I play outside hitter and some defense, 

Volleyball is a big part of my life and I have a very competitive spirit. I am not afraid to do what it takes to reach the goals I have set for myself.
