Bailey Lasater #1...Personal Statement
I was a multi-sport athlete until my sophomore year when I began to focus on volleyball. I’ve played competitive soccer for 6 years, tennis, beach volleyball, and club volleyball for 7 years. I spent two years focusing on beach volleyball which made a huge impact in my defensive skills.
As a freshman I earned the Performance Excellence Award for the entire volleyball program. I have led my team on the court running a 5-1 the last two seasons of high school and continue that this season. I earned 1st team all district and 1st team all county as a Sophomore and was named district 8-5A Setter of the Year and Johnson County Co-Setter of the Year as a junior.
I'm always pushing myself and my team mates on and off the court. I’ve been a captain on many teams and am currently captain for my club team.
